Copa America Final 2007 Brazil Goals

Brazil completed its run to glory to win the Copa America. Two of the three goals were lights out. The first goal from Baptista was an amazing goal. A rocket shot that the GK had no chance at saving.

Uncle Sam's boys have done it again at the U-20 World Cup with a great 2-1 victory over Brazil.

The US held its own and showed moments of brilliance. It seems like the US is in the same league as the world's top team at this level - so why does the level of play drop at the senior level?

Freddy Adu had a magical assist on the 2nd goal to Jozy Altidore. The US seems primed to win this tournament and some of these guys could be solid contributors in 2010 in South Africa.

The US Under 20 National team went to town at the U-20 World Cup scoring six goals with a lot of fireworks from Freddy Adu.. Freddy scored three goals and showed he may be ready to shine. His first two goals were classics spinning around a defender for a top notch bending finish and the other placing the ball in the top left shelf.

Freddy had this to say after the game to an AP reporter.

"That's the kind of shot you train at all the time and tonight, it worked out,'' Adu said. "In our first game, I didn't take any shots at all.
