A Stoppage Time Thriller

A last-minute own goal by Liverpool's John Arne Riise gave Chelsea a crucial away goal in the first leg of their Champions League semi-final 1-1 draw with Liverpool. In the final minute of the game, Chelsea played in a cross from the left side and Riise stooped to try and clear the ball out of the zone, but succeeded only in heading it past the stranded Liverpool goalie to silence the home fans.

Its a classic goal and from the photos it appears to be a fabulous finish expect for the fact its his goal that he is targeting.

An Old Firm Classic

This is a real cracker from Shunsuke Nakamura of Celtic. A wonderful first touch, followed by a blistering bending drive into the back of the net. Wow. The goalie had no chance at all. Pure magic. The swerve is something to marvel.

Nakamura collected a ball 30 yards out and took a touch before rifling an unstoppable swerving shot just inside the right-hand post.
